Floating structure of Mega-Float is floating on the sea and moored to dolphin (ref. to the Composition). Therefore it does not get movement by earthquake, as it doesn't touch seabed directly. It is so-called quake-absorbing structure, although it is very huge. If you are on Mega-Float, you will never feel earthquake even if it is located in seismic area like Japan.

By the way, mooring dolphin is fixed to seabed by piling and is moved by earthquake. The movement is transmitted to floating structure through rubber fender. We have checked the impact, and, as a result, found that it does not move at all virtually, because of very big resistance of huge floating structure moving with sea water around it. This is also proved by the actual data measured during experiments at offshore Yokosuka, Japan.
